Are you an experienced Excavator Operator?

Matco have recently been successful in securing several large projects in the Bay of Plenty and are on the hunt for a leading Machine Operator to join their team. This is a full-time permanent role based in Mount Maunganui, primarily working Monday to Friday, however occasional weekend work may be required.

Matco are seeking an Operator with a positive attitude and problem solving abilities. Matco are a small family based operation with over 24 years of experience in the civil industry covering small construction projects right through to large earthworks projects. We offer new CAT equipment running both 2D and 3D GPS technology.

We are offering competitive rates, a work vehicle and mobile phone for the right candidate based on skills and experience.

About you:

• Have a reliable work history with relevant skills and experience

• Have strong problem solving abilities

• Have a positive 'can do' attitude

• Hold a current and clean driver’s licence

Desirable but not necessary:

• Class 2 or 4 licenses

• Wheels, tracks and rollers endorsements.

Successful applicants will be required to undertake a Pre-Employment drug test and medical. Applicants for this position should have New Zealand residency.
